Scroll Bar (Form Control)

Hi, Everyone.

I ran into an issue/bug that I cannot seem to find a fix for. I have created a Column Chart and using an INDEX formula added a Scroll Bar (Form Control). Everything works great and as intended… until you save and close the spreadsheet. Upon reopening the spreadsheet everything works as it should, except for 1 thing.

The Scroll Bar reset the “Page Change” option under format control to “0” and therefore does not scroll when you click in between the arrow keys and the slider. If you click the arrow keys on the sides of the slider it works as intended, but for some reason the “Page Change” that controls click between the slider and arrow key keeps resetting.

I have tried saving the spreadsheet in a diff format (.xlsx / .xlsm) but still the same result. I do not have any major calculations on this spreadsheet, the index formula only controls 6 rows/17 columns of data so there should not be an issue there either….

I am currently banging my head against my desk, as the person who I am making this spreadsheet for wants exactly what does not work…. Help? Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the late response, weekend, family and needed to throw a dummy spreadsheet together.

I have attached a dummy file, however I used Excel 2013 to create this one (office computer runs off 2010), however I still ran into the same issue. Once I saved and reopened the spreadsheet the Form Control Scroll Bar setting resets.

Also, I tried to make an ActiveX Scroll bar which worked great, however when I ran it on the Excel 2010 the slider would not auto update when you would click on the slider and drag it left/right.. any ideas on this one too? ActiveX seems to work without an issue on the 2013 Excel, maybe a glitch/missing feature in 2010?
