hi mikerules,
The issue is with the input data in case of half an hour to be filled ":30" is not the correct method time format is "hh:mm:ss"
hh stands for Hours
mm stands for minutes
ss stands for seconds
taking an example for half an hour
hh is 00 , mm 30 ss 00 the time format to be entered is 00:30:00
Try this punnam
I understand however the employees will never enter it correctly or know to and I want it to allow them to just enter :30 Is there a way to format this so they can do it
@ mikerules ,
1) Are you talking only about the lunch time or even the rest other fields also,
2) As you said "employees will never enter the data correctly" , at least you would be able to provide the improper data or raw data for a better solution
Punnam
I think the solution is to put the hours and lunch time in a drop down formatted as it should be and they just pick.
Thanks for your help
Yes that will be a good one
Punnam
