    Highlighting Active Cell/Column/Row Problem

I have a worksheet setup successfully that highlights the active cell/column/row of a football results grid based on where the user hovers the cursor. I used the HYPERLINK function, some VBA and consitional formatting to achieve this. Check out the image below to give you an idea. The 'Row' and 'Column' number you see at the bottom is simply a live reference as to whereabouts the cursor is at the moment. These use the 'SelRow1' and 'SelColumn' named references.

All this works fine, and I'm using the following module in VBA. The 'Highlighter' function is used for this worksheet.

I set up another function called 'Highlighter1' for a different worksheet and used separate named ranges for the row and column number. This worksheet contains a colour-coded form guide.

In the image below, the first four rows have used this formula (a basic formula for demonstrative purposes):

The cursor is hovering over row 9 so as you'd expect, that number appears for the 'SelRowTable' reference at the bottom. The 'SelColumnTable' does NOT appear though. :/

What's worse though, is when I use the proper formula, NOTHING changes in the row/column references. Forget about the 9 — it doesn't update when hovering over the cells with the proper formula in it.

So does anyone have any idea what these problems could be? I've followed the exact same principle as I did for the other worksheet yet it doesn't work properly. It's pretty simple what I want: The user hovers over the green/grey/red cells and the column/row references appear at the bottom.

I'm reluctant to upload this workbook on here due to the nature of it. If a user on here is confident in solving these issues then I can always PM you a link to download the file.

    Hi,

That's a lot of stuff you're asking for there and even with much smaller requests we always prefer workbooks to pictures - as mentioned in the forum rules
None of us are prepared to start reconstructing workbooks when you have one available. Just anonymise your data if it's sensitive and then upload it.

Most of us like using remote drop box type servers about which we know little.

The whole point of this forum is that it's for the benefit of all users.
