Hi
In the right hand side of the tool bar I can usually see the count of cells when I highlight them. Suddenly this function doesn't work anymore.
The tool bar is still visible and it says "ready" in the left hand side. When I right click on the toolbar both "count" and "numerical count" is selected.
Calculation is set to automatic.
Does anyone know how to make it count again?

Your selection should have more than two values to get the count, I suspect

an attempt (I'm an Excel 2010 user).
Right click on status bar and select count.

I'm not sure I know what you mean, when you say "Your selection should have more than two values to get the count".
There's all sorts of other stuff selected in the tool bar too, and I do highlight more than two cells at a time?

I tried that, and Count is already selected. I tried unselecting and selected again without anything changing

Sorry I am unable to fix it
Have you tried a reboot?
It looks as though your zoom is set to 10% according to the status bar but that doesn't appear to actually be the case?

Ended up rebooting excel and my computer and after several attempts it suddenly went back to normal. Still have no idea what caused the problem.
