comparing cells then highlighting specific differences in text (not just the cells)

Hello (and thanks in advance) everyone,
I am comparing insane amounts of text between multiple reports. We have hundreds of ecosystems that we need to group. For example we have 14 variations of a pine ecosystem, and a manual comparison it looks as if there are really only 10 as there are duplicates. We have hundred of ecosystems to compare, and I'd like to make the process as easy and accurate as possible. The reports were originally generated in Access. We have considered using MS Word to compare documents we generated using a python script, but it is very difficult to look at 3+ reports at once. I was thinking we could take the various fields in the different reports, paste them into Excel then use a function to highlight the specific text that is different.

I have attached an example for the aforementioned ecosystem. There is not necessarily a "reference" cell for any of the fields. Sometimes the cells will be identical except for a typo in one and not the other (e.g., "Michigan" vs. "Mochican"). It may be that I have to simply review each group using filtering/sorting/pivot tables.

    Thanks! All ideas appreciated.

Which cell are you basing your reference to check off of? That is, will there only be one cell that contains differing text (as in your example)? If you upload a sample workbook that has a few more fields, and if you can explain which cells your trying to check, more help may be able to be provided.
