Hi! I am trying to customize the ribbon at my office. We use Excel 2007, but I can't seem to find a way to customize it. It's just not an option. When I go to Excel Options, it will allow me to edit the Quick Access Toolbar, but not the ribbon. Same if I right click on the ribbon. Am I missing a setting somewhere that allows this to show up? I've never run into this before.....Please help!

In xl2007 you can only modify the QAT via the builtin UI.
In xl2010 you can modify the QAT and the Ribbon via builtin UI.
In both you can customize the ribbonx of a workbook or addin by editing the ribbonxml.

So, am I unable to customize the ribbon? I'm a bit confused. And really don't feel like that link answers my question. I went to that site before posting on the forum.
You can not customize via any builtin user interface with xl2007.
You can however create a custom ribbon if you create the correct ribbonxml file and associated .rels files.
That site contains links to programs that will help you create/package all the files required.
If you want to do the processes manually then you will need to read the articles here.

Gotcha. Okay. That's way too much work to add the strikethrough to the ribbon. Sigh, oh well. Thank you!
