Lookup "How to highlight Duplicates"
And please read the Forum rules - Your thread title should reflect your question, not a general statement. Once you have read them, please adjust your title (Instructions found in the rules) so that it makes sense... ie Highlighting similar values (Something that describes the problem you are trying to solve)

Thanks ELeGault for your reply.As i searched for how to highlight duplicates i found it is used to highlight same data repeating in the column.
But what i require is highlight two cells if same pattern is repeated ie if A1 has a data and C1 has a data, highlight only if A$ & C& has exactly same data as in A1 & C1

Please Follow the steps
1. Select the data
2. Select the Conditional Format in Home Tab under Style
3. Select the New Rule
4. Select the Format only unique or duplicate value
5. Select the Format button and set the fill color as your
6. Now press the Ok and Apply button

Thanks Jitendra, by doing as u said every duplicate copy in a column is highlighted.
But i want cells to be highlighted if a pattern repeats, like the image shown.untitled.JPG
