I want to enter data in a column in sheet 1 and have the sum total of it move to a cell in sheet 2 as I enter it in sheet 1. I have looked for an answer in Excel 2013 for dummies but no luck finding anything.

If I understand correctly, all you need to do is make a cell reference to Sheet 1 from Sheet 2 and the SUM total value will update automatically on Sheet 2.

I see what your reply is saying and yes that works. But I want to add data to column "H" in sheet 1 each day and have it show up in cell 2C in sheet 2. I could total column H and have data move to 2C but I would have to create a formula each time I did it.
How much data are you entering into "H" and is there a header in the first row of "H" column?

If column "H" is all numerical data going down a sheet type the following into "C2" on Sheet2:Please Login or Register to view this content.
