Auto Fill Options box missing

Ok, under my advanced setting, "Enable Fill handle and cell drag-and-drop" is checked. I do have the small black square in the bottom right of the cell that I can click on and pull down numerous rows and it will fill the cells with the same number. What's missing is the box that would appear after doing this,"auto fill options", that allows me to change it to "fill series" and whatever those other options were. How do I get that box turned back on??

Found it, finally. Hope this helps others.

Under options, advanced, "show paste options button when content is pasted" - needs to be checked.

Not sure what that option has to do with the "auto fill option" box but it does.

I discovered that when a column is in filter mode, the "auto fill option" will not work.
