    Excel Data Query: ODBC Microsoft Access Driver Login Failed - Not a valid password

    Hi, I am getting an error when attempting to connect to an .accdb Access Database in Excel on 2103. It prompts me to enter a password when connecting and then I can view the tables, but when I return the data to Excel it give me an error:

    ODBC Microsoft Access Driver Login Failed
    Not a valid password

    Does anyone know why I am getting this error? I am definitely entering the correct password.

    I found some some threads about possible "connection strings" but I don't know what that is about.

    Can you tell what is the connection string that you are using? Also which Driver are you using?

    Hi Deep Dave,
    I don't know what the connection sting is. I was given an .accdb database and saved it on my pc.
    I'm just trying to query it to get some data out.

    I guess i'm just using the built in driver. I ran the 2010 access redistributable (not the x64 one) but has made no difference.
    I have 64 bit pc with 32 bit office.
