I have a column of Credits and a column of Debits. I need them to be combined into one column and have all the debits be negative... I attached a work book...everything to the right of the orange line is the desired out come........ but i want the outcome to be in column D

Try to use:
H2 --> =IF(D2>0,D2,-E2)
Copy it down.
