Hi all,
I'm a novice when it comes to excel formulas and I want to become more advanced. Does anyone have any suggestions/resources/training that would be helpful to build my knowledge? I want to have a competitive edge over my colleagues being the only woman on the team, so I'm very determined to learn more!!

Help other people problems here on Forum and you'll become expert.
You can't think up so many examples as you can find real questions that people ask every day.
In the Functions and Formulas Folder of this forum is a Sticky thread "Useful Links" Plenty of possibilities there. It probably should be updated. Maybe I'll do that in my spare time.

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

Continuously follow the posts and questions posted over here as @zbor rightly said that whats better than solving real life problems.
I was also a novice but wanted to learn more and more about excel and after being a part of this forum I have learned quite a many new things.
So just keep researching about various formulas (there are numerous websites over the net) and follow the questions, see their replies and you will get to know many new things.
