Damn excel dialog box keeps popping up?

I have no external data sources and yet any time i try to change the sheet reference it pops up the open file dialog box, how can i resolve this? Below is one of the formulas i am trying to edit, all i want to do is remove the word cost from the reference and it wont let me.

=SUMIFS('In House Cost data MA Snapshot'!$I:$I,'In House Data MA Snapshot 2'!$F:$F,"007 Driver Imp D&R",'In House Data MA Snapshot 2'!$A:$A,">="&$C$9,'In House Data MA Snapshot 2'!$A:$A,"<="&$D$9)*1.15

Already checked the data tab edit links but its grayed out so no external links...
