Counting specific data in a list

Say I have a 6 columns, the first five show the price of apples, oranges, bananas, pears & grapes, and the last a country (eg US, UK etc). Then lets say I have a 100 rows of those 6 pieces of data. I can easily total each column =sum(A1:A100), but how would i go about totalling only specific rows, eg the cost of bananas in each row marked UK?

=SUMIF, (or SUMIFS if there's multiple criteria) with the column containing UK in a part of the formula.

I agree with oeldere. A sample file is very helpful in getting solutions.

In the mean time. Try working with the SUMIFS function.

    Hope this is helpful.
