You can add a calculated field on a PT, or just run the calc in the data table in a helper column, and pull that column into the PT?

What I meant with the helper column was to add an extra column to your data table (that the PT is based on), and then run your "difference" calc in that column. Then you just add that "helper column" to the PT the same way as you added all the others
