Time format change
I have data where duration of time is written as "01:05" which means 01 minute and 5 sec.
but in if i copy paste that data in excel it shows 1 Hour & 5 min, so can i change that format to "00:01:05" ? if yes then how..
showing format :-- 01:05
want to show like:- 00:01:05

Format -> "00:"hh:mm
If you want to change the value then you need to divide by 60. To do that, put 60 in a blank cell somewhere and < copy > that cell, then select all the cells with the time values that you want to change and right-click and choose Paste Special | Values | Divide | OK then press the < Esc > key. Then you can apply the format to those cells (you can also delete the 60 from the original cell).
