Post Dependencies in Excel

Hi,

I have 5 sheets in excel workbook.

SheetA
SheetB
SheetC
SheetD
SheetE

I have a dashboard in sheetE for which i am using data from some other sheets.
How do I know from what sheets the data is coming to SheetE. I want to delete other sheets if i am not using them for SheetE dashboard.
Please help.

Re: Dependencies in Excel

If you run Find & Replace with SheetA etc. in the search window, you will find any instance of that in the sheet. If there is none, then that sheet can go.

Another way - delete teh sheet anyway, and see if it throws out an error on your dashboard. If it does, use CTRL Z (undo), or just reload the file. If you are sure there is 9and wont be) any errors, leave the sheet deleted
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: Dependencies in Excel

hmm you could also use the Trace Dependencies function, but that can sometimes be hard to follow if there are lots of dependancies
