Date format not working in excel?

Hi I have a work sheet, I need to sort data by dates and group them, however, excel isn't recognizing my dates as dates. It was exported from 3rd party android app. I have tried text to columns, cleared formatting, changing formatting but noting works. Sample attached

if the date format is the date format used in your region, you might try copying the value 1 (type it in a cell), then selecting the range of "dates" and paste special mulitply

You should now have 'real' dates which you should be able to sort properly.
