Hey folks,
I am looking to achieve something that I have done in the past (with a former colleague more experienced than myself), but can't seem to recreate now...
I have 2 columns of data - one showing the RRP of products and one showing the actual Sale Price of the item. One row per item sold (this is a very long report).
I am trying to find out how many items sold at discount and what those discounts were. Last time this was done we set some form of filters (eg. <10% discount, 11-20%, 21-30% etc etc) and used a pivot table to manipulate the data, eventually from the 2 long lists of transaction values we ended with one column of filters and next to it, how many items sold within each discount band. Importantly, the goal is to see how many items were sold with a discount of 40% or more from the RRP.
Can anyone advise?
Thanks!
Shep
