Linking different sheets

Hi everyone. I am currently having an problem, and was wondering if anyone has encountered a similar issue/ knows how to solve it. I going to explain the problem with an example and then I'll explain the actual problem to try and make it less confusing. I have two sheets on excel. On each sheet I have filled three cells with the terms apples, oranges, and bananas. I want to be able to link all these cells so that when I click of apples on sheet 1, it automatically takes me to the cell with "apples" in sheet two. However, I cannot individually link the cells. My real problem is that I am trying to apply this to about 1500 products on an excel sheet. Is there anyway to set excel up so the cells in both sheets are linked by name? Thanks for any advice!

This must be done with a macro but due to the exact nature of code you would have to provide all the specifics of your data layout.

For each term on sheet 1, is there always exactly one cell on sheet 2 that matches? Here is a sample of code to give you an idea. In this code, you must double-click to go to the other sheet. That is because if you could only single-click, you would never be able to modify the cells in sheet 1.

This is a generic solution that might work for your file.
