Help with forecasting

The problem i have is i am current supplied with a forecast that I don't think is very accurate, i have tried using the functions within excel but i cant seem to make it much better either.

i was wondering if anybody has any existing sales forecast models or any clever ways to predict daily forecasts based on previous data.

Short but useless answer to "if anybody has any existing sales forecast models or any clever ways to predict daily forecasts based on previous data." -- Yes, there are lots of people with lots of clever sales forecast models out there.

A couple of recent discussions here:
Someone posted a basic polynomial regression and extrapolation model here: https://www.excelforum.com/excel-for...recasting.html I am not sure the OP ever decided that he/she liked this approach, but the example is there.
