Apologies, i'm sure this has been asked before.
I don't want my spreadsheets to open in separate sessions. My latest version of 2016 appears to have recently foisted this on me. Can i turn that off please?

I run 2016, and have not experienced that issue, have you changed any settings?

How are you opening the files? From within the program or something else?

I'm trying to open them from Windows Explorer
I haven't changed any settings that I'm aware of.
It means, for instance, that i can't link spreadsheets when writing a formula, nor copy and paste. I can open additional files from within Excel in the same session, but that's not what i prefer to do!
