I have two Calendars (School/Staff) and I want to setup conditional formatting for each School holidays have colour coded and have one colour for all the school in the Inset day.
they are two employees working in each school, I need to have summary Holiday Tracker for the main Kitchen staff and School staff holidays.
each staff have to work 193 days each year.
please help,

For weekends >> =AND(LEN(C8)>0,WEEKDAY(C8,2)>5)
For Public Holidays >> =AND(LEN(C8)>0,ISNUMBER(MATCH(C8,$BA$23:$BA$29,0)))
From those, you might be able to construct the other conditions

Thank you for your help and your answer to formulas worked however I am having problems applying Conditional Formatting for School Holiday "insert Day to show on the calendare.
When you say "Inset Day", are you saying for School Holiday's you would only want to see 9/3/2018 and 9/6/2108 highlighted?

thanks for help, I want to have to see Inset Day is Staff Training in different colour and school holiday is blue colour from the start date to end date all highlighted in bleu colour. thanks for help again
Ok, sorry, missed the part to span the number of days. Don't have an immediate solution, but Christmas Holiday is very generous.
Start 12/22/2018 and End 12/2/2019. 345 days? Now that's the school I want to go to...
I suppose the end should be 1/2/2019, but that makes it trickier when it bleed over into the next row.
Let me ask some of the other forum members if they have some ideas.
