Undo not working

I added a macro to an excel file that allowed my pivot tables to automatically refresh when the source data was changed.

However, after I added this macro, the undo ctrl+z function no longer worked. Is this normal? and is there any way around it? Undo is a pretty important thing, i could easily lose important of data if I accidentally emptied a few cells and couldn't undo it

Unfortunately the UNDO list will be cleared after macro runs, perhaps you can try make the macro save your file each time before it executes so that can you simply close the workbook without saving to undo the macro.
