I have a large workbooks that has graphics, pictures and VBA code. When I open it it often crashes and I do not know what the issue is causing the crash. If I try often enough times it finally opens and is stable once open.
Is there anyway to trace the source of the crash?
How large is it? No error messages? Have you tried repairing your Office installation ? ( always backup your file just in case...)
It is about 7MB in size. I get no messages and Excel actual crashes. When I do finally get it to open there will be recovered (originals) in the left panel.
Lots of array formulas ? Formatting? Bloat (see https://www.techrepublic.com/blog/mi...orkbook-bloat/ to get rid of it)
Would setting calculations to "Manual" help ?
