Is there a way to auto populate photos in excel?

I volunteer at a Habitat for Humanity store. They use excel to produce a description / price paper which is attached to the item. We would like to add a photo to that paper. I know how to do it manually, but we create up to 100 of these papers at a time. So, doing it manually would be way too slow.

Does anyone here know how I could take a photo and somehow it auto populates a a spot on an excel spreadsheet?

    Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Hi,

We produce a single sheet at a time. See attached. It is a simple excel spreadsheet. We just want to add a photo of the item as shown in the attachment.
We do as many as 100 when we do these. Dragging and dropping a photo in is just too slow.

Ideally, I would like to take a photo, wirelessly upload a photo to a folder somewhere and have it automatically populate the photo box.

This would be printed out and attached to the item.

To get started we can use code to insert a picture into your range of cells.

Test this out, change the picture file in the code to one of your picture files

Once you have that working, we will need to find a way to get the picture file name to be inserted into that range of cells.
