I used Excel 2016 to write a set of 18 Power Queries. The queries refresh perfectly fine. However, these same queries do do not refresh on a laptop with Excel 365 Pro Plus. The Excel crashes with "Not Responding" error message. Please help.

Welcome to the forum.
We don't have an appropriate section for PQ questions, but as the VBA section certainly isn't appropriate, I've moved this to the general section for greater visibility.
Are the 18 queries all in one workbook? How are they being run? On opening of the book? On manual refresh?
Are you running them over a WiFi network or wired network? Is the laptop low-spec?
There are so many possible factors here, but I cannot see that it will be the change of Excel version that will be the issue.

Fault find methodically, on the PC with the problem.
Refresh each query in turn, until you find the one which is causing the problem. Once you've isolated the problem query, try stepping through in the query editor, to see if it's one step in particular causing the problem. If it works okay in the query editor, but not when you try refreshing the data model, then it may be related to volume, or to data below the first 1000 rows...
If you're still stuck after this, post the offending query code, with as much information as possible detailing what you've investigated.
