I have a table with 2 worksheets.
In the 2nd worksheet are intervals from which I want to read numbers based on the first worksheet.
The numbers in column A of the worksheet 'Grade' are given and shall be compared with column A in the worksheet 'interval'.
The corresponding grade should be retrieved in column B of the worksheet 'grade'.
I hope you have a formula for me.
My index formula does not work.

If you change your Interval table slightly you can use a VLOOKUP
This does assume that the , is your local value for decimal place.

Is it possible to keep the interval table as it is.
The interval is generated by pc across a lot of sheets.
I would have to change all of them.

=VLOOKUP(A2&"*",Intervall!$A$2:$B$12,2,TRUE)
