Fixed end date, minus so much working days is weekday start date.

    Hi all,

In a planning I have a fixed end date. (A1)
We know how much time is tied up into the amount of work. (B1)

    *We don't work in weekends.*

On which date i have to start? (C1)

    Thanks a great lot!

Ps. The other way round would be appreciated as well; from start date, amount working days, is working day end date.

For example; we have to end on 9/25/2020 (A1)
Time needed for the work, 11 working days 11 (B1)

    Requested outcome: 9/11/20 (C1)

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

This one should be so simple, uploading an excel would be overkill, for both sides I guess.

Thank you for you constructive answer, really helpful.

By having so many replies already, others might start to think they are running late in offering a solution, hence lowering my chance of a speedy reply.

Sarcastic responses are uncalled for - please don't do that again.

You removed your own thread from the unanswered threads list by responding to it yourself - three of the four posts are yours.

This one should be so simple, ...
... but you are asking for help with it. I have asked you to provide a sample workbook, but you feel that's not necessary. That's fine. Good luck.

    Ali,

I had another account before and we had a similar type of discussion, you are focussed on form and rules but not really the helpful type.

I can state it has to be simple, for experts.
I have (some) expertise in; HTML, SQL, ACCESS, and how to apply those into BI.

So excuse me i don't know the exact syntax, thats why i turn to those who have a certain area of expertise.

Now my post has been turned into rubble, and i dont think the forum will resolve this one for me.

Are you willing to have a go with the syntaxes?
The one reason i have made the post ofcourse is to get it resolved.

    thanks in advance.

    Solved it myself, simply enough.

I am so sorry you think so, however I have had thousands of notes of gratitude from those I have helped over the years, and these far outweigh (and mean much more to me) than the tiny number of negative voices.

What was your previous account here and why have you created a new one?

Are you willing to have a go with the syntaxes?
Despite your rudeness, I would have, had you not resolved it yourself. Luckily for you, I rarely bear a grudge.
