I would like to provide the user a few options for values of a parameter. After checking a box the value in that box should be taken over in other cells as well (by using a reference command like "=$A$1").
Hopefully someone can help me!

Your description is not very clear, so it would help if you attached a sample Excel workbook to explain your requirements more fully - see the yellow banner at the top of the screen for details of how to do this.
A Data Validation drop-down might give you what you want.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Pete, it concerns a drop-down list as I found out by following another thread. In this thread I also found help.
HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK:
Fast answers need clear examples. Post a small Excel sheet (not a picture) showing realistic & representative sample data WITHOUT confidential information (10-20 rows, not thousands...) and some manually calculated results. For a new thread (1st post), scroll to Manage Attachments, otherwise scroll down to GO ADVANCED, click, and then scroll down to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and click again. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.
Notice my main language is not English.
I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.

Glad you found a solution.
If that takes care of your original question, please take a moment to select Thread Tools from the menu above and to the right of your first post in this thread, and mark the thread as SOLVED.
Also, since you are relatively new to the forum, you might like to know that you can directly thank those who have helped you by clicking on the small "star" icon located in the lower left corner of a post that you have found to be helpful (not just in this thread - for any post that has helped you). This also adds to the reputation of the poster (the small green bars in the poster's profile).
