Trying to get my roster into excel and create a function

    Hello Everyone.

So just for some context, I'm in a 24/7 position and I want to custom create my roster, so i can see ahead of time when I have days off.
The thing is, its not the usual 5 days a week.

    It goes as follows:
    4 days on - 5 days off
    5 days on - 4 days off
    5 days on - 5 days off

And I have no idea how to create a function that can utilise this across a calender. Not sure where to look. If anyone can guide me to a youtube tutorial etc etc. That would be amazing.
    Thank you! :D

(If it helps, I have minor knowledge in excel. I've created a few reports before that also used power Bi. But i'm no pro.)

    Welcome to the forum.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook. Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

Assuming that you have dates in Column E starting from E2,
    In F2 insert a formula:
