    Need formula

I?m trying to find the correct formula to determine what percentage each - of 4 different square footages represents (with all four adding up to 100%).

    Example

    3168 Sq Ft ________________(% ?)
    1980 Sq Ft ________________ (% ?)
    1584 Sq Ft ________________ (% ?)
    3168 Sq Ft ________________ (% ?)
    ___________
    100%

    HELP ANYONE?
    PLEASE

    Re: Need formula

Please try =a1/sum(a$1:a$4) and copy down (format cells as %)

    Re: Need formula

You should try the formula somewhere else and refer to the numbers of the square foots

For your last example try =3168/9900 and format result as a percentage.

    Re: Need formula

Try this. This formula is considering that your data is in A1:A4. =A1/SUM($A$1:$A$4)
