    Converting decimal number to hh:mm

I am working on a spreadsheet, and I have a cell where I have calculated a total number of hours.

the output of the calculation is 43.81 (hours). If I try and format this to hours (hh:mm:ss) it displays 19:33:20

If I change the formula to display hours - add "/24" at the end of the formula, it displays 1.826 (days), which then reverts to 19:48:53 when formatted as hh:mm:ss.

If I copy the formula cell, and Paste/Values, they still format as 19:33:20/19:48:53 rather than reverting to 43:48

Re: Converting decimal number to hh:mm

i dont see the example you gave

the output of the calculation is 43.81 (hours). If I try and format this to hours (hh:mm:ss) it displays 19:33:20

If I change the formula to display hours - add "/24" at the end of the formula, it displays 1.826 (days), which then reverts to 19:48:53 when formatted as hh:mm:ss.
if i change what io think are time cells , and /24 and then format [H]:MM:SS

    this is what I get

But as its not the same as your original question - Not sure what results you expect, in the cells
