i am trying to convert Daily Sessions sheet

I am trying to convert Daily Sessions sheet,
into Tournament to calculate just as daily sesions does
I input everything in Tournaments sheet manually from column H:Q
in daily sessions into Tournaments sheet column I:R
and from Tournaments results I Would like my results
to calculate in results per day, sheet from Tournaments Sheet.
right now results per day come from daily sesions sheet.
Could anyone be so kind to help

I have already put in the Profit/Loss columns of the Results per day sheet.

Not understanding.
Need to go one column at a time.
Which column on the Tournament sheet should be calculated in the same way as column H on the Daily Sessions sheet.
Also how were the values in column H on the Daily Sessions sheet manually calculated?

Column I on the Tournament sheet is Mark Up as is column H on the Daily Sessions sheet.
If I understand correctly, you want column I on the Tournament sheet to be calculated in the same way as column H on the Daily Sessions sheet.
However, there are only numbers in column H on the Daily Sessions sheet, and I don't know how those numbers are calculated.

On the Tournament sheet:
Column L: =[@markup]*[@[Buy-in]]
Column M: =[% Sold]*[%*MU]
Column N: =[@[Buy-in]]-[@[cost + fee]]
Column O: =-([@[Buy-in]]*[@[% Sold]]-[@[cost + fee]])
The calculation in the Profit/Loss column (O) on the Daily Sessions sheet is dependent on the value in the Result column (P). There is no Result column on the Tournament sheet.

the schedule sheet is going to be where i set up the week once ready It will be copy and paste to Tournament sheet just want to mention that

My thought on easy to distinguish would be to change the data validation source in the Network column (Tournament sheet) to read: =Info!$T$16:$T$27
None of the columns on the Schedule sheet have headers, so I don't know which ones come after the buy-in column.

i would like to see how that works, its because i know it will get though when playin MTT 12-15 tables at the same time is going to be a challenge to keep up with the inputs for the staking since the schudule would be copy and paste hoope that works well then
your right no headers on shedule you mean from shedule if we have heaters i can just do the week schedule and i don't have to copy and paste on the tournament sheet? its that an option? where they show on tournament sheet?

for staking can this be eliminated from staking games or would that cause formulas to give erros and instead just show amount in column R

That is what the formula and file in post #23 display.

adding row not working well and cash sheet when deleting date it turns the totals into #n/a from running balance, total bankroll and cash bankroll

The third row still had Cash in cell B9 and 5/24/2023 in cell D9 which caused cell AC9 to evaluate to #NA.
That is what caused S9 and down to display #NA
I have deleted that table row in the attached file.

Selected cell AP37 and pressed the Tab key which added row 38 to the table.
Typed 'A' in cell B38 and nothing happened.

the way i do it is just drag down from any cell and create a cell then try to input the name thats whn it get the pop up

mate, can we adjust column T in tournament to actualy return the values from daily poker session column R
right now column S in tournament is subtracting $18 dollars from column R, I actually want the profit to show from column R in daily poker sessions
is the profit from selling the high markup @ 2 + the 90% from fomula =(P10*(1-I10))-M10
daily poker shows example from row 10:24

and can column M in daily poker sessions be positive isntead of showing -$2.47 -$8.00 etc. since thats profit im actually getting for selling all action
and making $2.57, $8.00 all the way down to row 24 is profit and the game is not started yeah? or would it have to show negative for fomula to work as it is?

Note that changing the formula in column M affects the results in column R.

In the latest copy of the file (post #38) S9 on the Tournament sheet shows $994.22
I don't understand how it should be $1002.57

thats profit for me selling the whole action even before the games starts because of the %*mu
investor pays $5.78 - $3.21 = 2.57 which goes towards balance

Not understanding. You seem to be asking the following: On the Tournament sheet, if Q24 displays 100 then K24 should display 6 since J24 displays 6% is that correct?
If so then what should the cells in column K display when the corresponding cells in column Q are blank?

when addin 100 to Q24 Column s24 adds 100 dollars
something like this amt. is 1,248.56 before adding the 100 in cashes row Q24 after adding 100 amt. turns into 1,342.56 it take 6 dollars off if not it would of been 1348.56
staking is percentage i buy differrent from playing %
in staking any amount cashed it should only return the percentage stake which would be the 6 % of the 100

you didn't answer me if the values for staking can be remove for columns L:P and just show in column R since running balance would not be the same or match network i play in if you can see column Q26 after adding $100 at a 100% it shows 99.96 in column R, as me mentioning this i have a problem in the old staking workbook which i can't figure out why is off by 7 cents from staking i did from 10/3/2023 where i could not have the same balance to match the staking platform balance till now i don't know why, after i though the mistake was on my end and spending days trying to figure it out only thing i can say its tha is rounding numbers somewhere in the cells which don't ever match my balance from the platform. in this case it not exact the amt. in column R in this workbook

Adding new row continues to give poping error i delete formula from last cell in K column and when adding row it formula show again

To find out if a column can be removed select a cell in that column that contains a formula, then select the Formulas tab and then select Trace Dependents.
Columns L:N all have dependents so they can't be removed without changing other formulas in other columns.
Columns O:P do not have dependents so they can be removed.
We might be better able to help reconcile the differences between the "the platform" and column R if we could see the values from "the platform".
As to post #58, if I knew the expected values of T9 and T26 I might have a better chance of resolving the issue.
That said, I am guessing that the formula in column T should be changed to read:

I may have corrected column K by selecting K7:K39, press the Ctrl and x keys and then pressing the Ctrl and v keys. When I added row 40 to the table cell K40 was blank.
I will not have access to my computer for at least the next week and probably more.

Please give specific examples. In cell S9 the gross profit is 1.12 what should cells R9 and T9 display?

As to post #68 save a copy of the file and then move the bankroll rules to the Info sheet. If the formulas still work then you can work from the version with only the Info sheet and if not you will know which formulas need changing.

the 13 cents if from the platform pokerstake my balance in pokerstake sheet is $0.06 cents is off by 7 cents

As to the circular reference error, there are formulas in column K in the rows that have 'deposit' in columns B and F (cells K25:K26 and K31:K34). Those formulas need to be deleted, but for some reason the formula will show back up when a new row is added anyway.
I suggest either overwriting the formula with a Buy-in amount or selecting the cell and pressing the delete key when you enter information in the new row.
Perhaps someone else can do a better job of troubleshooting this.

Because in the Tournament sheet the formula references the % Sold column and in the Pokerstake sheet it references the %*MU column.
The formula on the Pokerstake sheet can be changed to reference the Share column but it will result in #Value errors in columns Buy-in through $/Hr.
I cannot find a way to have Excel not put a formula in the Buy-in column when a new row is entered, may have something to do with the VBA code, but I don't know enough about VBA to say that for sure.
I don't think that it matters because you have been manually entering the Buy-in so it would erase the formula anyway.

mate can you help with the worksheet in info sheet to how the values like in original file in info you can see the link to google sheet

Re post #87: I feel that the VBA may be causing the formula to keep repeating on new rows even after it has been deleted from all previous cells in the Buy-in column on the Pokerstake sheet.

At the moment I don't have time to go through the website and figure out what is different, perhaps in a few days.
If you can figure out the difference, I can make changes to the existing formula(s).

Looking at the file attached to post #88, which I assume is the most up to date, cell AD29 on the Results per day sheet displays -$107.94
Some of the cells, R1:R8 listed on the Tournament sheet are text and R8:R14 which are associated with 10/21/23 don't have a value.
The -107.94 comes form R37:R41 and R44, which also associated with 10/21/23, so it seems to me that cell AD29 is correct.
I don't see any cells displaying #N/A on the Pokerstake sheet.

i don't think that system for the staking for restults is going to work it only counting the positive i think

Please explain exactly how the calculation for column T would be done if it were being calculated manually and tell us the expected results for cells T8 and T9.

column S is my actual return from the stake gross profit would be my profit or loss
T8 1.62 - .30 = -$1.32
column S actual returned was $13.02 which i only get 10% 13.02 x 10%= 1.29 - .26 making profit T9 1.03

There may have been some rounding issues in columns L, M, O, Q and R.
I have wrapped each of those formulas in ROUND(...,2)
However if you are saying that the displayed balance in cell U65 should be $0.13 instead of $141.62 then I have no idea.

Cell U3 is blank, cell U34 displays 160.71 not 108.81 and I don't see 108.81 anywhere in column U
I don't see any of the other numbers, 68.54, 19.51, 49.03 or 67.64 in row 34 so I can only help with the #value errors by changing the formula in the Buy-in formula.

Going column by column, in the buy-in column in the file attached to post #105 the value in cell K8 is 2.16 which comes directly from cell G8 via formula. In the file attached to post #104 the value in cell K8 is 1.62 which was manually entered.
Which value should be displayed in cell K8.
If it is the 1.62 value then how was it calculated?

It looks to me as if the math that goes into the balance column is to add the previous balance to the current deposit and gross profit: =SUM(INDEX(tbl_Tournaments3[[#All],[Balance]],ROW()-6),[@Deposit],[@[Grosss Profit]])
As that didn't change anything I adjusted the formulas in columns L, M, O, Q and R.
I have wrapped each of those formulas in ROUND(...,2)
The balance still works out to 1.62
I'd check to see if there is a missing tournament that would account for the difference.

You could add an 'Adjustment' column as in column AS where you would manually input adjustments to the values shown in column U.
The Balance column formula could then be: =SUM(INDEX(tbl_Tournaments3[[#All],[Balance]],ROW()-6),[@Deposit],[@[Grosss Profit]],[@Adjustment])

Re post #119, perhaps put a drop down in cell U5 such that it will toggle the calculation to either include or exclude the adjustment.
Re post #120, column AR already converts yuan to dollars, would need to plug those numbers into the other formulas that presently include [@Cashes] such as the Player column.

Replaced [@Cashes] with N([@[Prize 2]]) as in for the Players profit/loss column (P): =N([@[Prize 2]])-[@[cost + fee]]
I feel that I found all formulas that included [@Cashes] and made the replacement, but you will want to double check.
Note that [@Cashes] needs to be left in the Prize 2 column formula.
