Question How to unscrunch this menu?

    Hello, Mac user here.
    Version 16.80.
I downloaded a bughet template and this menu option for selecting different date ranges is scrunched up and I cant figure out how to increase the size so its all evenly spaced.

    Welcome to the Forum FirstTim!

Can you please attach the actual file?

To attach a file, use the Paper Clip icon and follow instructions, or use this method:

    1. Under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button.
    2. On the next screen scroll down and under the Attachments section click the Manage Attachments link, which will show a pop-up window.
    3. Click the Choose File button to select a file to attached.
    4. Click the Upload button to upload the file.
    5. Then click the Close This Window button. Your file is now attached to your post.

You are populating the listbox from an external file so I can't see exactly what you are seeing. So I tried populating it from another source and it looks OK to me. I'll see if I can find what may cause this on your end. I've never seen that before. The text size of a Forms listbox should be fixed. I've seen this kind of thing in cells when the cell height is to short, but that's not how the listbox works. It's possible this is something specific to a Mac, in which case I can't help.

That is interesting. I downloaded the sheet of off this website (linked below) and it is one of the most popular personal finance tools online. There are several other tabs of data and inputs and being able to access that will probably help you with being able to find the source data.

If not, is there a way to remove it totally and create your own? I wasn't able to but would appreciate help!

Literally just had to double click in the right area of the listbox and drag it to the appropriate size I want it to be. totally fixed. I feel so foolish.

In the file you provided, the listbox is populated from
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

It should be as in the template:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

However, you removed that sheet from the file you provided.

I don't think any of that is what's causing your problem, though. Here is what the template looks like on my Windows box:

That's odd. When I resize the listbox it does not affect the size of the text at all. Maybe this is something specific to the display on the Mac.

That's so interesting. I think it probably has to do with the Mac/Windows issue. I am just glad it works now! And I appreciate the help you provided.
