    Average Top 5 values between two dates

    I am trying to figure out how to find average of top 5 values between two date or in a particular month. I googled but couldn't find a solution.

    Are you still using Excel 2010? Please check and, if necessary, update your profile.

    Also, what do you want for July... where there are only 3 eligible values for top and bottom 5?

    Possiblly this:

    =IFERROR(AVERAGE(AGGREGATE(14,6,($B$2:$B$27)/(($A$2:$A$27>=D2)*($A$2:$A$27<=E2)),{1,2,3,4,5})),"Insufficient data")

    changing the 14 to 15 for the bottom 5
