Additional Information Pop Up

Quick question: I am working on a project that requires Other or Additional info to be available if I click on a specific item. For example, if I click on a person's name a message or pop up show appear with the person's address or any other information I might want to add. Is this possible in Excel or should I be using a different program? Thanks.

You need to specify what you are clicking on.

You have the option to display a comment when you select or hover over any cell.

To use this right click on any cell and select insert comment.

You can also make excel run a macro when you double click or right click on a cell.
I'd program this to open a user form that displays your data.
