Hi,
Check the updated sheet with sumproduct function.
This can be done by more other methods if not satisfied i will show you other methods also

Yes I agreed but the amount not update the related description (TRANSPORT,MACHINERY,SCAFFOLDING) when I replace the description like
1. SCAFFOLDING 650.00
2. MACHINERY 2250.00
3. TRANSPORT 1995.00
Please help with formula.

1) Please change the title to , Like "Loookup / Index / Surmproduct extract data from sheet to another".
2) Transport , Scaffolding , Machinery in Abstract Sheet are merged , can i un merge & change the alignment to "center along the section" , because the merged cell will mess the formula .

iqubalemco, " Suitable formula function to make solution" is hardly any more descriptive of your question than "Need suitable excel formula"
It seems your question was answered, but for future reference, please consider better thread titles. If it has not been answered, please change your title to something that actually describes your problem.
