please look at my attached sheet, i am trying to do a sum @ c10
in a way that when check mark is selected from c4 to c9 it will create a sum from adjacent values from A
example if i tick c4 and c5 i will get a total of 53.60 in c10

Right click on the control and select format control, under Control Tab enter the cell link. this links the cell to the control and then checked will show "True", "False" when unchecked.
Then use the countif formula to count the true cells.
