Scanner Inventory Help

Is it possible to scan a bar code and have the number it represents located in a workbook and have that matching cell be filled with a color upon the scan?

I have a workbook set up for inventory with the number corresponding between the bar code and the workbook in column B.
I am currently able to search the workbook and find the cell that matches the bar code number. However, I don't know how to make it auto fill, if that's even possible.

I will be searching this forum for an answer but wanted to start my own thread as well. Thank you for any help and I am happy to provide any additional information that's needed.

Presuming when your macro finds the term the scanner was seeking, you have an "Active Cell" that
holds the term. Then you can use this line :
