# Multiply with decreased decimal percentage

1. ## Multiply with decreased decimal percentage

I AM NEW HERE AND I COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT WHERE TO POST THIS. I'M SORRY IF IT'S POSTED IN THE WRONG PLACE.

I have been trying to do this for a long time but it's not working. I'd be very thankful if you could help me.
Salary (B1) Days (C1) Worked Days (D1) Percentage (Decreased) (E1) Total Salary (F1)
20000 26 23 88% (88.462%) =20000*E2

When I'm putting =20000*E2, it's multiplying 20000 with 88.462%, even though I've decreased the decimals. Is there anyway that I could make it multiply with 88% only?

2. ## Re: Multiply with decreased decimal percentage

Use Round()
Ex: =20000*ROUND(E2,2)

Thank you!
