Running stopwatch in background while working on other workbooks

Hello,

I am trying to create a timekeeping workbook that will track the time I spend on certain tasks. I have created the attached worksheet including macros that correctly allows me switch between tasks but I cannot run this set of macros in one workbook and work in another. Can someone please help me figure this out?
