    UserForm inconsistent Error

i created a workbook with a network of userforms and it hides the excel application view - as a result - it looks like a separate program but still run by excel.. There's currently 11 Userforms in it, with controls ranging about 193 (on my manual count) totalled...
    - at this point - each and everycode built into these are working perfectly with no errors...

then i added another Userform with 6 controls and added some code inside this userform for its subs...

now when i tried to launch the other userforms, it started crashing. there has not been any code created that relates all the other 11 userforms to the newly created one.
then i searched google about excel userform limit and found someone saying you can only do 200 controls before getting any unusual problems.
so i tried removing 2 userforms from the workbook, then saved it on a different username, then relaunched my PC, then opened the newly saved workbook - and everything worked fine again.

thus i wonder... has anyone had problems before with too many userforms? or too many controls created in 1 workbook?
don't worry, there's a lot of people that are far more confused than you

    Re: UserForm inconsistent Error

I have such a problem since a month with one of my workbook.

I have about 60 userforms there and at least 4 times per day, Excel crashes, giving this message.

    ..Run-Time error-2147417848(80010108)':
    Automation error
This object involed has disconected from its clients.
No solution until now, even that i search for that at least 3 hours per day....Still searching..
    Regards

    Fotis.

    Re: UserForm inconsistent Error

I've encountered this error before, but only when a connection to a database was open but failed due to the database being backed up at that time. Do you have any external sources / are you running on a server?

    Re: UserForm inconsistent Error

How are you adding the controls to the userform? If you have almost 200 controls, I'm assuming you're not adding them manually at design time?

    No!!

But also for replying to the other question of ag273n

i had much more than 200 controls in userforms(Ai mean in ALL userforms together-Not in 1 userform) in this workbook and everything was working fine

    Re: UserForm inconsistent Error

mine doesnt involve any servers or database at all.. i copy and paste the data i need into a worksheet in that workbook.. - completely independent from any external data sources on runtime.

all controls in it manually added by me, each tested before i say its good.

the error i get is error 13. - it stops recognizing a userform that it exists among the objects upon the userform.show method.. this part perfectly works before the new userform was added, then the error appeared, then when i removed a couple userforms (including the new one), it worked normally again...
