Run-time error '13': Type mismatch

Hello Again folks,

What would the Coding be to have the User fill in a specific field namely "I2" before running the code or have the click button check to make sure field is filled in before it runs

As I said this code runs just fine as is just needing something I assume at top to make sure "I2" is not blank.

I guarantee there is a better way to do what you are trying to do but without seeing the workbook it is hard to tell. In answer to your question, put this code before your "update range data" comment:

Thank You stnkynts im sure there was a shorter way of doing it as you did, some of the code is borrowed from another and didn't want to go in and mess with it.

But I did try both of yours and they both work so thank you for your help
