    Sharing a Tab and QAT

I have a highly customized Tab and QAT that I want to share with some of my coworkers. I exported my customizations, and made a copy of my Personal, unlocked for them. I then signed on to another machine, and imported and trimmed down some of the customization and my Personal (they don't need all of my tools).

For my first user, I exported her customzations in case we wanted to roll back. She didn't have a Personal to replace, so I copied mine into her AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Excel/XLStart folder.
When I fired everything up, she had access to all my buttons on the QAT and my custom tab, but all the paths for the verious macros pointed to MY user name, not hers.

I noticed it first with the QAT, so redid each button to point at her PERSONAL, but would rather not do that with the Custom Tab.

    Is there a Faster/Easier way?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

BTW, I also have an Add-In that my users use, based on Ron DeBruin's "MyAddin", that appears in the QAT. The macros mentioned above work best from a custom ribbon tab or the QAT, so I didn't add them to my addin. I don't have access to VB, just VBA, so don't know that I can make a custom tab with an add-in, hence my attempt at a workaround.

    Hello jomili,

Is the path hard coded or is it derived using code?
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Remember To Do the Following....

    1. Use code tags. Place [CODE] before the first line of code and [/CODE] after the last line of code.

It's not in my Macro code, appears to be deeper down. Found a comment by Kathleen in
    HTML Code:
that indicates the UserName is part of the Excel Customizations.exportedUI, and you can convert that to a Text file, replace the name, restore it to exportedUI, and it should work. My user has gone home for the day so I'll try that in the morning.

Update that we're having an Ice day in Texas (wow, will wonders never cease!) so I and my coworkers are off today, so I can't test my solution yet. Will update tomorrow.

Holy smokes, it worked! Rocking and rolling now!

Leith, thanks so much for responding. Even though you didn't give me anything I could use to resolve this one, I know you wanted to and I sure appreciate that!
