    Question insert a value in a cell based on certain criteria in an attendance excel sheet

    hi.
    I am trying to put together a attendance sheet for work.. it has a column for name, a column for phone numbers and a row with numbers from 1 to 31 for each day.
    it take mobile numbers as identification and just the date i.e 12 for 12/3/2015 and puts a P for present in the column with the date as 12
    so if i put my phone number and date as 12. it will mark me present for work on that date
    Problem: it identifies and finds the phone number correctly but for the date it selects the cell with the date as header and not to the one in the same row as the mobile number.
    it should select the cell in the same row as the number below the date enetered e.g. 12. and the date will always be current day (today)
    i am attaching an image of the sheet to give u a better idea..

    Just a quesstion
    how could i put the input box in a loop so that after entering the "P" in the relevant box it returns again for mobile number and date

    Well this would be an infinite loop, but i would recommend some sort of escape state, some way for the loop to exit, and the sub to end.
