Determine what value was chosen in filtered column

Hi, I have a couple of questions, but I'll just ask the first one (and try it first if I can take it from there):

A▼ B (Display which was chosen)

How do I determine the value/or data that was chosen in filter?...suppose I chose 2 in the filter, how do I determine that value in b1? Thanks for any help.
