Pivot table search- need help!

I'm currently utilizing a pivot table- And was wondering if I can add a search box to one of the sheets inside the book. So Pivot table is sheet 1, all the information i'm pulling from is in sheet 2. I would like to add a search box to sheet 3 that will pull up the information from sheet 2. Is this possible? Please let me know if I'm confusing you, apologies!

What do you want to achieve though? You are already pulling through info from Sheet 2 into the pivot on Sheet 1. What can't the pivot do for you? What do you need to search and what do you want it to do after finding the bit you are looking for?

I have the following question:
Taking a table with some data on a sheet and a dynamic table on another sheet, I need a macro that:
Read each row in the table (first 3 values) and if these three data coincide with one of the rows of the pivot table, read a pivot table data and put it in the other table. If there are not any row that match, the cell is filled with a "No match"
When finished, there must be a report of the number of cells filled properly and the number of cells filled with "no match" message.
In short, I need to search within a PivotTable.
It would be very helpfull for me

Message: There were 9 matches and 5 no matches
