Keeping track of element position in for each...loop?

I'm not sure the correct way to ask this..

If I do this:

Please Login or Register  to view this content.

How do I keep track of how far I am in the array?

I could always do this:

Please Login or Register  to view this content.

So, obviously, in the second example, "x" marks the spot. Is there a property of the control variable in the "For Each..." method that I can use to be sure how far I am?
