Need Help to disable cell editing if putting current date + two days

Hi,

complete amateur so looking for some help and if you could give as simple instructions as possible that would be great :-)

I have a spreadsheet for ordering and i want to disable anyone ordering if it's not at least two days in advance therefore you cannot enter today date + 2 days into column B at any time.

You can use data validation. This is present under Data Tab -> Data Tools -> Data Validation -> 1st Option(Data Validation)
In the setting tab; Under Allow Select Date and choose the criteria you like.
Next step is to define the value based on which the validation should take place. You can put today()+2 in a cell and use that as the criteria cell.
